Survey processing and adjustment with spreadsheet editor, upload and download from/to Total Stations, XYZ extract from CAD for setting out and Import/Export formats, plus Building Elevations.
An ideal companion to a 3rd party modelling or CAD system. Spreadsheet editing, switching into graphics displays for coordinate data, with query edit tools. A facility is provided, for the setting out engineer, that extracts XYZ coordinate data from CAD backcloths. This can be exported in a number of user defined formats. Reduction, Traverse, Free Station and Intersection calculations from survey observations. Least Squares Coordinate Transformations. An Elevation Survey option automatically rotates and flips axes to show elevations in plan.
Even though n4ce Survey is designed to front end other CAD and Modeling packages it allows viewing of data models created by its more functional cousins Lite, Professional and Designer.
The Survey edition can be used as a viewer to display terrain models, sections and drawings, even though they were not generated in the Survey package. A DTM creation option is provided, but without additional tools.
This modular approach allows AiC to provide a variety of solutions for clients who require fully functional systems, but at the same time would like other professionals, such as decision makers, to be able to view and query the information presented to them.
Since the internal database is the same, information can be freely exchanged between departments using different versions of the software.
