Leica Geosystems have partnered with Wireless Logic to offer a private Vodafone fixed IP SIM card for its Leica SmartNet network RTK. This will allow SmartNet customers to benefit from continuous connectivity and a dedicated private IP address from Vodafone, giving users the peace of mind of private GPRS SIM cards that do not suffer from outages like normal public SIMs.
The Wireless Logic airtime solution provides a trusted, secure and cost effective private GPRS service that will enable you to increase productivity and data availability, together with full support and monitoring of GPRS data traffic between their servers and field connections. The Leica SmartNet solution is fast becoming the default commercial network RTK in the UK and Ireland, supported by Ordnance Survey.
